Yes, after final approval of your website, BestSites 0x will hand over your website to you with all necessary licences and materials. Once the handover is complete, you own all intellectual property rights to your website.
At the moment I only work with WordPress. WordPress is an open source content management system (CMS) used by over 40% of all websites created and is the most popular CMS on the market with over 450 million downloads. WordPress is easy to use, very versatile, SEO-friendly, cost-efficient and with a very strong focus on security.
Absolutely. You, and/or your team will receive training on how to use and navigate WordPress to ensure that you are able to successfully make all necessary changes and updates.
If you would prefer to have everything managed for you, I can do that as well.
Contact me today so that we can arrange a meeting. I’ll then send you a detailed proposal within 24hrs.
The number of pages is not limited, but it does affect the cost of creating the website. The more pages it has, the more expensive it is. Individual blog posts only count as one page, even if there are 20 or more posts.
The timeline for a project depends on the complexity of the project, the features and the number of pages. It can take between 4 weeks and 12 weeks.
- Discovery Call – I learn more about your business vision, customers and target market, goals and challenges.
- Strategy Call – This conversation can take place during the Discovery Call or at a later date. We discuss website goals, brand and key design ideas, SEO and communication strategy.
- Proposal – I prepare a proposal detailing the project phases and price.
- Initial Payment – An upfront payment of 50% (non-refundable) of the total cost is required.
- Planning – Once the initial payment is made, I will conduct research on your industry, your competitors, your target audience and the keywords that are critical to effective search engine optimisation. I will use my findings to understand how best to structure the website.
- Design Phase – After the planning phase, we start the design phase where a mockup is developed and presented to the client for feedback until we agree on how to proceed.
- Development Phase – I develop the website based on the ideas agreed in the design phase.
- Revision rounds – Most projects have 2 rounds of revisions, for more complex projects there may be more rounds. Once the first design is completed, the client reviews it and requests as many changes as needed (all changes must be requested in one go, since one change or 100 counts as one round of revisions).
- Second Payment – A payment of 25% (non-refundable) of the total cost is required at this stage.
- Development Round 2 – After the revision round, I make any requested changes and the client gets another opportunity to review the website.
- Revision Round 2 – This is the final revision round. The client again has the opportunity to make as many changes as necessary. Any subsquent changes are subject to a charge agreed in advance in the proposal document.
- Final Development Phase – Carry out all changes raised in revision round 2.
- Sign-off – Once all changes have been made, the client takes acceptance and makes the final payment.
- Go-live – I take the website from the staging environment to the live environment.
- Training – I train the client and their team on how to use WordPress to make changes and/or updates.
- Aftercare Phase – During the 2 week aftercare phase, I provide the necessary support for the website. (Please note: Any further changes will incur a cost).
